I remember when I saw both of these girls on Shelly's website http://www.sashadolluk.co.uk/4436.html a little while ago....as the advert sings "My heart went Ooooops!"
They are both sooooo beautiful! Seriously, if money were no object, one (or both!!!) of these girls would have come home to my house!!!! Heeeheee! (Obviously these are not my photos as I saved them from Shelly's site.....I hope she doesn't mind, but they were too beautiful to not save for future drooling!!)
As my mum always said, champagne tastes, lemonade money!!!
Ahhh a girl can but dream!!!!
Ha ha, dreams are good! ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou're right Lorraine, they are indeed....but sometimes frustrating!
DeleteEek! That's a LOT of money! I think if I could have all the dolls I dream about I'd need a much bigger flat. LOL
ReplyDeleteIsn't it just and I really couldn't justify spending that sort of money on a doll, even if I had it to spend, I suppose! But it's such a nice thought and I don't begrudge anyone who is able to....they're such lovely dolls and they have such a great history!!
DeleteGuessing that we all do a lot of dreaming with Sasha collecting. Shelly and her very tempting website has a lot to answer for.... especially to out bank accounts!
ReplyDeleteYes, I think you're right Kendall, there are such beauties out there that we can only but dream....but it's nice to keep these photos and look back on them and wonder where these lovelies went to live, isn't it!!!
DeleteThat dark-haired little Sasha is adorable! I learned to knit, and a bunch of other odd crafts, from a series of magazines my mom had, called Golden Hands, and they had patterns for Sasha dolls. I was so exasperated as a child, because I couldn't find one to make clothes for! LOL
ReplyDeleteIsn't she just! I remember my friend and her sister both getting one each from their auntie who was a flight attendent and used to travel all over the place....I was very envious as I loved those dolls but they were just too expensive for my mum and dad to be able to afford one! I remember my friend had a blond Gregor and her sister a blond Sasha....the Gregor was just sooo cool and nothing like I'd seen before! LOL
DeleteAhhh those were the days!!
