Loulou gets some camera time....

It's been a while since either of my big Kaye Wiggs girls have had any attention.  I'm such a bad dolly mum because Loulou was still in her Christmas outfit until this morning.....how awful is that!!!
So she changed into this blue and white smocked dress that I made many moons ago, I think it's the perfect dress for spring.....Not so sure about those striped stockings with it though, but she wanted to wear them as she thought they looked nice...who am I to disagree!
Her nice new white shoes were a present from my friend Lene!  Thanks so much Lene, she loves them!!

 I do love this face!

  1. I LOVE the striped stockings - what fun, a girl with a sense of the outrageous I think!

Oh and a couple of my lads are STILL in their Christmas gear! Ooopsss

    1. Thanks so much Lene! They do look nice on her, don't they! She got them on quickly before anyone else could get a look in!

  3. She looks very sweet Sharon, I love her outfit a girl after my Hattie's heart in her dress sence!
How tall is she? I have heard of Kaye Wiggs and thought her dolls looked lovely.

    1. Thanks Dee! Yes, she has a style all her own...or Hatties!
This one is about 45cm tall, she's a bit taller than the Sasha's and is slimmer, although she has a roundish bum so slim MSD clothes don't always fit. I keep her and her sister, Hope, separate from the other MSDs who are teenagers, because I think these ones are like child dolls but tall, if that makes sense! I really like some of the KW dolls, I have two in this size and a small YOSD sized girl, who again is a different scale to these two so looks all wrong. I think Loulou has a very childlike faceup which helps her to look a lot yonger.

  4. perfect with the striped tights, my daughter wore stripy tights with everything when she was younger (now shes 11 she'd be horrified, its skinny jeans, hoodies and converse, not a girly thing in sight !)....those shoes shes wearing, this shows how scatty i am.... i was scanning etsy and was quite excited about all the different styles and ok price....but i thought they were shoes for people and not for a doll, im glad i realised before i bought any (lol)....thanks for the link to the photo site ...sarah x

    1. Thanks so much Sarah, glad you like the striped tights with it! I like the sound of your daughters outfit now...so much more comfy than wearing tights, eh?
Ahh so you nearly had a large 'mini' wardrobe! They might have fit your Sasha girls though! I'm sure they'd have not complained...LOL
You're welcome on the photo site, I hope you can make use of it sometimes.

  5. What a darling little face! She is definitely still a child. I think I prefer her young look to the teen/twenties bjds.
Does she stand and pose well? My bjd Scatter is a little unstable.

    1. Thanks so much Jenni! Yes, I see her as about 6 years old, although she is bigger than my other MSDs, and they look like teenagers, so she has to stand apart from them, although she's not alone, as she has her sister, Hope, to keep her company. I'm a bit OCD about the dolls looking 'right' together, 'scale-wise'!!!! I like a mix but mid teens is about my maximum to be honest.
As for standing and posing, she can stand alone but I don't risk it as we have such hard tiled floors here, I'd hate her to fall. She's not too bad on posing but as she doesn't have the double jointed joints in her elbows and knees, she is a bit restricted to normal posing, nothing too fancy. Having said that, I have a Fairyland Mini Fee and their posing is exceptionally good, but I don't tend to do much with that extra ability of hers!
What kind of bjd is Scatter ?(such a cool name by the way!!)

  6. What a cutie!!! I think she knows she is pretty. There is that 'I am so gorgeous' expression which I recognise from one of my granddaughters!!! Lovely dress and I, too, love the tights! It shows a certain independence of style and character!!! Perfect! Lovely photos!

    1. Thanks so much Karin, glad you like her. Yes, she's got that expression off to a T, hasn't she! I always think that she is sulking to get her own way....and I'm such a soft touch for a sulky face like that!
