These dolls are tiny, each of them are only 14cm tall and are made of resin and all ball jointed. Four of them are made by Elfdoll and the other, the blond, is from Dollmore. I love this size as they fit relatively well with 1/12th (dollshouse) scale items. The scooters are made of metal and are actually ornaments but fit these girls perfectly!
Most impressive. Such tiny dolls. Don't know how you manage to make their little clothes. Loving the motor scooter and motor cycle and side car.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Kendal, glad you stopped by! Making their clothes is a challenge, but I'm happy afterwards!!! The air goes a bit blue when I'm in the middle of sewing for them though, especially when my sewing machine decides to eat the tiny fabric!!!
DeleteThis is great stuff!!! They look like very modern kids! I agree with Kendal. I marvel at the dexterity of making such tiny clothes so brilliantly. I wished I had the gift!!! Love, karin
ReplyDeleteAwww thanks so much Karin, and lovely to see you again.....long time no speak!
DeleteI'm glad you enjoyed seeing my little skinny Elfdolls, I do enjoy looking at them!
What a fun and playful group of teeny tiny Elfdolls - they seem light as feathers these ones! You've dressed them very smartly & those bikes give them way too much attitude for such small statures!:D
ReplyDeleteThey really are very light, Nikola. Their limbs seem so thin and fragile that sometimes I worry that they'll snap. Thankfully that's not happened so far, although sometimes after time, their limbs tend to bend a little with the pressure of the elastics, but it's easily remedied in boiling water. Poor things look like they're suffering from ricketts!
