More sewing in the sunshine....

Today I made this little knit fabric dress for the Little Darlings.  It's going to America with all the Sasha outfits I finished last week, so my friend will be getting a nice big package soon...I hope she'll like all the outfits.

I used a pair of child's new leggings for the main part of the dress and the back of the pockets are a contrasting fabric from a new child's dress.  The socks are dark pink and white stripes.

Today's model is Gem, my newest Little Darling #2 sculpt, handpainted in 2010 by Dianna Effner.  She worked very  hard in the sunshine and as a result caught the sun across her nose and cheeks!

Kaye Wiggs Tillie - looking for a new home! Tillie has now SOLD - THANK YOU!

I have decided to rehome my little Kaye Wiggs human Tillie and thought I would offer her here to my blog readers, before putting her on Den of Angels and The Resin Cafe.

Tillie is approx 29cm tall and very slim.  She is a resin ball jointed doll and skin tone is called 'light tan'.  She has regular human ears and her default faceup.  She will come with a wig and random eyes, and will travel to her new home nude in her padded green satin bag that she came in.

Tillie is in excellent clean condition without any nasty smells or damage.  I've had her since August 2012 and as far as I can see doesn't appear to have yellowed at all, she is a nice creamy 'milky coffee' colour.

Kaye Wiggs dolls are very sought after and often face sculpts are not repeated after their initial run.  If you do however, get the chance to order one during the ordering period, you then have a long wait of at least 5 months before the dolls are ready to ship from the US. So this is a good opportunity of own a little Kaye girl without the long wait and the customs fees, as I've already paid those! :(

The price for Tillie is £350 plus postage from Spain.  I will post worldwide.  I can only accept paypal.

Tillie has now SOLD, thank you very much for looking!

Kaye Wiggs MSD sized girls....

Although I have taken some photos of other dolls over the last couple of days, I will share those at another time and show these older photos instead today.  The reason being, I was looking through my thousands of stored photos and saw these and thought that some of you might enjoy seeing them.

These photos are of my resin ball jointed dolls created by the Australian artist Kaye Wiggs.  I have two girls in the MSD size, Hope who's resin colour is called 'sunkissed' and Layla who is in 'light tan'.  Both girls have human ears as opposed to some that come with 'elf' or 'faun' ears.  Both girls are approx 45cm tall with immature childlike bodies.

All of the outfits shown in the photos were created by me. I hope you'll enjoy seeing these photos!  And maybe you'll need to have a nice cup of tea and a comfy chair as there are a lot of them! ;)

Firstly we have Hope.  Because I like her name I've never renamed her.  She has been with me since July 2012.

In April 2014 I decided to remove Hope's default faceup and give her a softer look.  It was supposed to be a temporary faceup until I could get her done professionally, but I had so many people contact me to say that they thought she was lovely, that I decided to keep her this way!  Maybe one day I will get her redone professionally but for now I'm quite happy with this look :)

My other girl in this size is Layla.  Layla, who I renamed Louisa or Loulou, came to live here in June 2012 and I bought her secondhand.  She has a custom faceup by Forever Virginia.  I think that Layla has a slightly younger look than Hope, so she is the 'little' sister, although both girls are actually the same size.

I hope you've enjoyed seeing my Kaye Wiggs girls and thank you for looking!
