A new outfit and a new name!

My new little blond girl now has a name, she is called Jojo.  Of course Jojo isn't her 'real' name, she is really called Joanna, but that's a bit of a mouthful for such a small girl, so Jojo it is!

And Jojo also has a new outfit.  I made her this little blue flowered classic smock dress with matching knickers/shorts,  in this pretty sky blue flowered fabric.  I really like the colour on her, it really seems to bring out the blue of her pretty eyes.  I do need a ribbon for her hair though, but didn't have one here so we'll wait on that!!  And her fringe remains wilder than ever!  But I love her all the same!!

    1. Thanks very much Penny....there is a reason for those buttons, the collar had a tendancy to keep rising up!! And in my annoyance I pulled it a bit too hard and tore some stitches...DOH! Hence the buttons!

    1. Thanks very much Dee! It's a bit of an odd name really but she really seemed to suit it!
I promise that she will probably feature quite a bit on her as I really like her little face!

  4. such a pretty dress for a pretty girl. Have you tried conditioning her fringe then setting it with a roller and letting it dry naturally? It might to make it less wild.

    1. Thank you DollMum! Well I did try conditioning but to be honest, the fringe is so short in the middle that I'm not sure it'd go around a roller! I have however, given her a bit of boiling water treatment and then a sock on her head for a day and it is flatter now, although not perfect. It's the weirdest fringe, but it does seem to suit her!

  5. She is a lovely girl, and the blues do bring out the colour in her eyes nicely. Cute name :-) Your girls certainly have good balancing skills don't they?!

    1. Thanks Lorraine! Yes, I do like blue eyed girls in blue as it does indeed emphasise their eye colour. LOL on their balancing skills.....twice I've had them fall straight down off the deck...luckily it is just grass on the other side!!!
