Unfortunately we chose a day when they were cleaning out a lot of their water features but this didn't deter us, we still had a pleasant time walking around and looking at the plants, quite a few of which, I believe, are native to Japan.
Of course I had to take one of my dolls with us so that I could get some doll photos too, so I brought along Sienna, my Bastian in Saffron skin by Little Cosmos Dolls. I hope you'll enjoy the photos and seeing this pretty and tranquil little space here in Malaga, southern Spain.

There are loads of fish in their ponds and also a sign saying not to feed the turtles but we didn't see any, so maybe they're hibernating at this time of year.

Gorgeous photos!! We have a Japanese garden near too, but it's been closed for a long time for repairs. Every time I pass near I check, but still closed. Hope I can visit it next year!

What a serene looking place to visit. I really enjoyed seeing all the different features and that bridge is quite lovely. Reminds a little of the bridge from a Korean drama I watched recently. And Sienna looks like she fits right in with the environment. Thank you for sharing the visit with us.
ReplyDeleteIt really is serene yes! I could have sat down in the sunshine and read a book, like a man we saw sitting there, but we had other places to go so we didn't hang about too long.

I love Japanese gardens, especially those splashes of red they add. Sienna looked very much the tourist going round and enjoying the sights.
