Gabrielle takes a bow....

I've had a busy week, what with cleaning the house and trying to also catch up on all the things I need to do.  I'm still rerooting my baldy Bailey, it is hard work but I'm enjoying seeing it all come together.  I hope I'll finish this coming week and will share photos of her on here!!

In the meantime, Gabrielle wanted to show her autumn outfit.  I made the blouse whilst we were still at the coast and then finished the outfit with the pinafore that I quickly made up last weekend.  I got the lovely 'retro' looking soft fine corderoy from Norway, I really like the pattern because it reminds me a bit of fabric from the 70s.  I added the beret, which I made from wool felt.  I would have liked to have made it in wool fabric but I didn't have any!!!  I think I'll reduce the depth of the band as I think it's too wide....reminds me a bit of one of those old fashions 'stove-pipe' hats!!!

Drake gets dressed up!

I've spent the last couple of days making a couple of outfits for Drake to take with him on the next leg of his journey.
Although it is now autumn, I thought I would stick with my original plan to give his clothing a 'nautical' feel, so although these outfits are for warmer weather, hopefully he'll not have grown out of them by next summer!!  The bucket and spade set will go with Drake too as they were bought specially for him in the summer.

The first outfit consists of a 'beach' themed tee shirt in white with red and blue motifs, shorts in navy with tiny white polkadots with front waistband and elasticated at the back for good fit.  They also have elasticated leg openings.  Striped knit socks in navy and white.  And finally to top it off, a white cotton 'sailor' style hat.

The second outfit is a pair of dungarees or farm pants made from pale blue and white cotton linen.  They have an applique of a little blue dog on the bib and this little dog is decorated with two tiny white buttons.....although the dog is sewn on, his two legs are movable!!

Playing with frames!

A very nautical look for Drake!

Beach fun!

The Big Clear-out....Or Another One Bites The Dust! SOLD

I have another girlie here looking for a new home!  She is a Fairyland Mini Fee Rheia in normal skin.  She's MSD size (approx 40cm), she is the A line body with 'cutie' legs.  Her hands are No.6 hands.  She poses beautifully,  is in excellent condition and comes with her box should the buyer require it.  Also comes with random eyes, but no wig or clothing.

Her beautiful faceup is by Fairyland and is free of any damage.  I did however carefully remove the black dots from the corners of her mouth.

I am open to trades and have a Sasha wish-list, so please do not be offended if your doll is not what I'm looking to trade for.

Price is $450 or £280 plus postage from Spain.

Please get in touch if you would like to see any more photos or are interested/have any questions.

Thanks for looking!
