Teddy plays in the sand....

I took Teddy to the beach on Monday morning as he'd been a good and patient boy whilst I've been sewing and enjoying my BJDs!  He has some new sand toys so he insisted on taking them with him and he had a great time building sand castles and playing with his new truck.  I got this perfectly sized truck with several spades and some sealife shapes all in a little plastic string bag for just 1 euro!  Teddy was delighted with them.  He already had his bucket and spade (again came with several digging implements, also 1 euro) so he had plenty to play with in the sunshine.  And...he kept his clothes on this time, even though it was really hot and he'd have been much more comfortable without them!  Such a funny little boy!

The sand on our local beach is quite dark, though not as dark as it appears in my photos.....I took the photos with the rising sun behind me, so as to catch the natural light on Teddy.








Somehow he managed to get sand all up his nose!!

    You having fun? We not got such great toys as they let kids buy in Spain. Ilike your truck and bucket and spade.

      Hola Timmy, I have to say HOLA cos I'm Spain-ish now yer know!
      Yep I's 'avin' fun on the plaaaaya, it's called plaaaaaya here you know and Med Rainin' is the sea....I fink iz called dat cos when it rainz it fills wiv rain. good eh?
      Yes I haz nice toys too....I'm real lucky boy ain't I!

    What a fun truck. I hate getting sand up my nose. Oh well, only part of the fun.

    Rather adventurous for you then Sharon.....though I did note that you mentioned that the photos were taken with the 'rising' sun behind you.... so obviously early in the morning before too many spectators were about!
    Nevertheless I was very impressed with these photos of Teddy, in his new beach gear, playing in the sand with this super variety of sand toys.

      Well a little bit Kendal!!! It was 7.30am when I went to the beach so about 10 minutes later that I was taking the photos!!!
      I'm glad you liked the photos though, Teddy did have a lot of fun in the sand with his new toys!

    Teddy looks like he had a great time playing with his new truck and other toys on the beach. It was probably a good job he kept his clothes on as it will stop him getting sunstroke in the hot Spanish sun! :)xx

      Thanks Dee, he did seem to have fun. And yes, even at 8am it was hot, I went in the sea to cool off but didn't want him getting too wet so he stayed safely on the beach!

    Teddy has a good beach themed outfit and I'm glad to see he wore a hat even for earlier in the morning. His beach toys are a lucky find, perfect size for him.

    Teddy looks great on the beach with the glow of the rising sun on his sweet face. I love his beach toys and especially his super truck! It looks like he had great fun! So nice to see! :) xxx
