My only Fashion Doll.....

Because today I was too busy to take any photos of a new outfit I've made for one of my Sashas, I decided that I'd share some older photos of my only 'fashion doll'.  I have been chatting with a couple of my friends in the US about fashion dolls, which have never really appealed to me...I have always preferred 'child' dolls.  In the past I've bought and sold several Ellowyne Wildes and a couple of other dolls of the same size from Robert Tonner, but one doll that I've had for several years now and have no intention of selling, is Dorothy from the Return to Oz series also by Robert Tonner.  She is the same size and has the same body, as Ellowyne, but for some reason she just appeals to me so much more.

I took her hair down from its original style and then glossed her eyes and lips.  I think she's such a pretty girl.  She wasn't available in Europe for some reason, I think it was something to do with copyright, but I managed to buy her on Ebay back in December 2010.  I don't sew for her much, because I have some lovely Ellowyne outfits that she looks great in, but I am planning on making some simple shift dresses for her very soon.

Wearing an Ellowyne outfit by Robert Tonner....love this outfit!
