I decided to let Teddy, my Gotz Toddler Erik, come along with us as he has been a particularly good boy modelling for me last week! He borrowed his baby brother's dungarees (which were a little bit tight!) as somewhere in the middle of modelling he seems to have lost his only pair of shorts!!! Oooops! So I know what I'll be making him when I next get a moment! :)
Excuse so many photos, I just love this boy to bits! :)
Brian said "tell HER to wave at the camera!" I said "It's a BOY! Teddy, give us a wave!"
This cannon is situated near the lighthouse, there's no plaque or anything but it looks like it's been hanging around there quite some time!
The good thing about being small is when your little legs get tired, you can have a nice snooze in mum's handbag :)
Brian says "Take a photo of HER in front of the lighthouse!" I said "how many times do I have to tell you, he's not a girl, he's a boy!" "Looks like a blooming girl to me!" he says!
Men! Honestly!!!!!
This is a working lighthouse which was completed on the 1st May 1864. It has a height of 39 metres above the sea and 26 metres above the ground.
The lighthouse was built using one of the towers of the ancient Castle which was destroyed by Napoleon´s troops in the early nineteenth century. In the walls you can see remains of a Roman villa with numerous mosaics, which we have yet to visit. Next time we go to Torrox we plan on visiting the Roman remains as I believe they are particularly well preserved.
The sweetest little profile.....
Lovely photo's of Her.. Oops I mean him :) Teddy looks very happy at the seaside and playing on the cannon.
ReplyDeleteEspecially love the photo of him napping in your bag! Sweet little sun suit and hat, loos really nice on him. :) hugs Dee xxx
LOL You're a meany to poor Teddy!!!! Yes he is girly looking, I admit it but sooooo cuddly and sweet!
DeleteI love this boy, I really do and constantly silently thank Jenni that she let me adopt him :)
I'm glad you like the photos!

Fab photos of Ted. Tell Brian to go to Specsavers next time you visit the UK...anyone can see he is a little boy...a handsome one at that:)
ReplyDeleteLOL will do Ronny!
DeleteIsn't he very handsome! I loves him to bits :)

Scenic! I love how well his outfit compliments the surroundings.
ReplyDeleteThe girl/boy confusion is so common with these isn't it? But at least it's always too funny to read about! :D
I love this fabric jSarie, I have a big piece of it as it was given to me by my neighbour/friend......but there are only so many outfits I can make with it! I think Teddy does need something of his own in it though because he had to borrow this and it's a bit tight!!!!
DeleteI suppose in some ways it's great that he does look neither one thing or the other so he can model girls clothes for me sometimes too!!!!

I need to see your boy as a girl, you have the wig supplies to make it happen!!! I for one can't wait, he won't mind, my son put one of my bra's one and his t-shirt on his head the other day!
ReplyDeleteLOL poor boy! Well I do indeed have the wigs but not here, they are at home. I did get Brendan to bring my wig box when he came down today but these are the 7/8 size and smaller, the bigger ones that would fit Teddy are in another box!!! But one day I will try him with a wig. Of course he could just pretend to be a girl with short hair, I had his exact style when I was little......and strangers use to refer to me as 'sonny'!!!!
DeleteGlad to hear that Max is getting in touch with his feminine side too ;)

What an absolutely adorable little 'chappie!' He looks so sweet in those dungarees and adore THE hat!
ReplyDeleteI just love these kind of historic and interesting days out. So much to see and learn, not to mention photograph plus they are even more attractive when a Sasha or two is added to the mix.
Thank you very much Kendal, he is a little sweetie isn't he!
DeleteThe hat was made for a Sasha head but with the hot sun I felt that Teddy should borrow it....it looks like the big kids won't be getting it back again now though! He's adopted it :)
Glad you enjoyed the photos :)

That little boy is scrumptous! I feel like I could reach into these photos and scoop him right up. He has such a baby charm to him. Lovely photos. :) I really hope to someday add a Sasha to my collection!
ReplyDeleteLOL Thank you Farrah Lily, that's exactly what I feel too, that he has that babyish charm where he's not quite a child, but not quite a baby, if that makes sense......which I guess is why they're called Toddlers! The short limbs seem to help too, and the pot belly....although those all contribute to a nightmare for standing up! LOL
DeleteI don't think you'll be disappointed if you do go down that Sasha route!! :)

A beautiful post Sharon! What a gorgeous scene at the shore and sweet little Teddy looks incredibly precious with the blue sky background. What a super boy and he fits in Mummy's bag too! No reason not to take him everywhere! Thank you for sharing the outing with us! :) xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Ginger, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
DeleteI agree, he should come everywhere with me....except that I'm sure he'd stay in the bag a lot of the time, as I've still not conquered that fear of strangers staring at me like I've lost the plot....a grown woman with a dolly! I need a grandchild.
Virginia, if you're reading this "me encanteria tener un nieto por favor!" ;)
Oh well, I tried!
