From faded blue to chocolate brown.....a Shelly repaint!
Millie's head arrived back today from visiting with Shelly of Sasha Doll UK where her slightly faded blue eyes were repainted a warm chocolate brown. Shelly has done a super job on her and I'm really pleased with her new look. I really do love how Shelly repaints the Sasha eyes, they are very natural and like the original Morgenthaler ones, but with Shelly's special touch.....just perfect! Lovely dress set by Ruths Doll, a present from Steve last year when we met in England.

She is looking beautiful now Shelly's repainted her eyes Sharon. The brown looks lovely with her blonde hair and I love that dress by Ruth that Steve gave you. I do think Shelly does the best eyes and they so lift the doll to another level.

Those eyes turned out wonderfully. There really seems to be a distinct expression to them.

There really does, doesn't there! She looks a bit sleepy sometimes....or maybe that is because I'm sleepy myself LOL!

her eyes match her dress perfectly. She needs strong eye paint in the bright Spanish sunshine.

Millie looks fantastic with her beautiful brown eyes. Shelly is so very talented and I love her repaintings. I particularly like the brown eyes with her lovely blonde hair. She is a vision in her dress by Ruthsdolls and what a perfect and generous gift from Steve. Congratulations on a special and unique addition to your Sasha family! :) xxx

What a pretty girl..I have always loved a brown-eyed doll. They just always seem "warmer" to me (and I have blue eyes!) I love how she slightly extended the lash line up and out a little...really pretty.

I was sure I had left a comment on here Sharon when you first posted, but perhaps it was just on FB. There are so many places to post pictures and comments it is easy to forget what we have commented on! She is absolutely delightful and a wonderful transformation. Shelly does such lovely eye paint and how nice to see a brown eyed blonde. Her dress suits her beautifully as well.

Thanks very much Kendal, I too love this combination and thought that if Shelly could do her eyes in brown for me she would be perfect. I think having two other blonds with blue eyes from the late 60s, this poor girl seemed to pale into insignificance compared to them....although she had the better hair of the three. So now she can hold her own with the best of them and I love her new look :)
