Olivia, out in the sunshine....

I took Olivia out in the sunshine yesterday, so thought I'd share some photos of her.  My favourite colours are blue and white, and I've noticed that subconsciously, my dolls tend to have a lot of clothing in these two colours too!!!!

If it's cold where you are, I hope these bring a little sunshine to your day!  Keep safe and warm everyone!

  2. Wow, Olivia is such a beauty! Her face is gorgeous. It's pretty cold here even though we're having a mild winter. No real snow yet so to speak! Your photos are making me feel warm for sure. :)

    1. Thanks very much Farrah, I'm glad you like her. I'm glad the photos make you feel warm, and I hope that if you do get snow it doesn't hang around for ages....unless you want it to of course!!!

  3. I think Olivia is just a beautiful girl with her gorgeous face and curly red hair. Blue and white colors look lovely on her and what a nice beach setting. I have always liked the painting of the Kish dolls especially their eyes. You have dressed her perfectly. :) xxx

    1. Thank you very much Ginger, I'm so partial to these colours and they do suit her red hair, don't they!
She is my only Kiss doll now although I did have quite a few others at one point, she is the only one that I seem to have been able to keep!!

  4. What a sweet little red haired girl! Love the blue and white dress too, did you make it? Looks like you had a nice sunny day in Spain.

After 43.5c on Wednesday, it dropped to just 18c yesterday with strong winds, today is slightly overcast but warming up again...typical Melbourne weather!

    Hugs,

    1. Thanks very much Dee! I'm not so sure about having people in the photos too Dee, but at least I didn't run and hide when I was taking these as there were people walking along the promenade right by me!!!

    1. It has been lovely Lynn, thanks for your nice comments.
Yes her hair does set off the blue and white, doesn't it! I always think of these colours as being 'seaside' colours, so the perfect ones for taking her to the beach in.

  9. I love seeing blue and white together as it always looks so clean and fresh and I'm always thrilled when you take your little dollies to photograph them by the sea as this is my favourite environment and was lucky to have been able to spend my all secondary education years in a school at Llandudno, North Wales and the first few years of marriage living on the sea front in Bexhill-on-sea.
I just adore her little face with it's large blue eyes and down turned mouth edges not to mention her wild and curly red hair.

    1. Thank you very much Kendal, I agree those two colours do indeed look so clean and fresh, I've always thought the same. I love the sea, I sometimes wonder if perhaps people would get bored with my photos if they're by the sea a lot of the time, but I certainly hope not!!
I am never happier than when I'm within shouting distance of the water!
