Another little glimpse.....

....of my little girl who was once a boy.  I was taking some photos of her modelling the wig and thought she came out looking particularly pretty in them, so I thought I'd share on here.

The sun has been well and truly shining for the last few days and this morning I actually saw people in the sea as I drove back from my trip to the supermarket.  We are already experiencing temperatures in the mid to high 20s centigrade :)  Ahhhhh spring and summer, my favourite seasons of the year :)

Just as I took the photos so there was the slightest breeze which blew the 'tendrils' over her face but I thought it looked quite good so didn't take 'replacement' photos ... (wig is a Monique Collection Christine, size 8/9 in Chestnut Brown that I've styled and trimmed)...

Here she is in front of the Jasmin which is absolutely smothered in flowers, and the smell, particularly at night, is just wonderful ....

Hope you all have a lovely week!

Mr Stinky cleans up nicely!

A few weeks ago I blogged about the new brunette boy who'd arrived from the UK, having a few problems and smelling none too pleasantly!  His badly falling brunette hair was removed and I'd wigged him as a girl, but despite a good clean, he still had a very cloying smell about him.  I was going to give him the cat litter treatment but thought I'd leave him outside in the garden for a few days first, just to see if that worked.  And luckily it did!  He now smells just fine and for the time being he is back to being a boy again!   He only has a pair of trousers so far, a simply made pair of jumbo cord ones that quickly made him today, but he does have a wig!  He is currently wearing a Monique Gold Jojo which I've trimmed in length at the back, but it is still nice and long.  He is a bit of a beach bum and surfer dude so he likes to keep his hair long!!  I have cut out a shirt for him and hope to sew it together tomorrow.

He hasn't got a name yet, but might end up being called Jack!  We shall see!

A bit of body swapping!

Back in the summer I bought a brunette Gregor head from Ronny with the intention of using him for rerooting practice.  Ronny told me that he'd had a bit of a hair cut but his hair wasn't falling at all.  I thought that when he arrived, I'd remove his existing badly cut hair and practice on him before starting on my bald Sasha.

Ahh but as we all know, the best laid plans....so the Gregor head arrives and even with his untidy hair I can see he is handsome.  His eyes are beautiful, a very hazel brown, and soooo dreamy!  How could I not immediately fall for his roguish charms!!  So me being me, I put him to one side and started straight away rerooting my bald Sasha....no trial runs for me!!!

In the meantime, Gregor head has sat around...well as much as you can 'sit' without a body...and just looked handsome.  But I kept looking at him and thinking that I really must get him a body, and wondered if there was anyone in my collection who could do without theirs!  And once the seed was sown, well I just kept thinking about it...and so today, Jojo, my mid 70s blond girl, became 'just a head' and the Gregor head now has a body!!  I know I'm naughty to do that to her but she is my least favourite and hopefully I'll put her head on Ebay for someone else to love!!

So Gregor has become Emilio!  He is currently wearing a sock on his head to try flattening his unruly hair, but if you squint at the photo you can almost imagine he is wearing not a sock, but a nice black Dollydoodles beany!!!  OK, so you need a very vivid imagination!!!

And yes, those are little eyelashes that you can see, but I just pencilled them in carefully so that I could see what he'd look like as a girl....I've since removed them!

Tomorrow he will hopefully get an outfit of his own!

What do you think?  Isn't he gorgeous?
