Bailey....

As most of my Sasha friends will know, I've been struggling with Bailey, my former brunette with the wider face.  I really love her little face but I'm still not happy with her hair.  So today I finally decided that I'm going to remove the hair that I recently rerooted her with and I'm going to either wig her again, or I'm going to reroot her once more.  I've already half made the decision because I've bought some more hair but this time it is closer in colour to her original hair, I've chosen Chocolate Brown, I just hope it's dark enough because this little girls hair was pretty dark before it all fell out.

This is the sweet little girlie that I want back!!!

  1. These two are sooooo cute. What a gorgeous photo! Just love the outfits. Makes me realize my Sashas are far too neat in their dress habits! Got to change that!!! I love the little shorts! Do you have a pattern for those? The matching socks and t-shirt are also so sweet and this boy and his dungarees - that's what a real boy looks like. Just love this!!! A brunette wide-faced Sasha is on my wish list. I found one the other day but 'falling hair' was mentioned and I chickened out! Love this post, Sharon!!! Love, Karin

    1. Thanks so much Karin, I do like these photos, I think they bring out their personalities!
The shorts are old and were made for a BJD but they are really only knickers, so I think any pattern that is bloomer style knickers should work...such as those that come with the smocked dresses. I'm really glad that you like them! I'm hoping that once Bailey is rerooted again, she will be back to how I want her...well I hope so anyway!!

    1. I know, I know!!! You said it would happen and I should have listened, but I'm really not happy with her how she is....I've learned a vital lesson though, I'm never going to just rush in and wash their hair when they arrive here....I'm going to think it through first!!
So glad you like that outfit, it is very cute on her, isn't it!

  5. Good luck with your re-rooting! Don't those two look just too cute.- Devlin looking so nonchalant - and Bailey's little midrif and saggy socks!! I'd love to see speech bubbles letting us in on what's being whispered so confidentially! Jude D

  7. I think she was nice with the blond hair too. That outfit she's wearing is soooo cute with the dark hair though.
Perhaps you should use the blond hair to practise cutting before you take it off. Just a thought.

    1. Thanks Lene. I will have to cut that blond hair off at some point before starting the new reroot, so may well practice on her......thought to be honest, there's not much length left to practice on really!!!

    1. THanks very much Anna, I will try to have fun with it, although it is hard work.....and addictive!!! I really hope it comes out well this time round....I've really not been happy with the work I did on her last time.

  9. You talk of rerooting as if it was just a walk in the park! Sounds like a nightmare procedure to me! How long does it take to do one Sasha? Although I think the colour of the hair in this photo is pretty darn good. Really suits her. xxx Karin

    1. Karin, it's a bit like a 'walk in the park' in the middle of a hurricane!!!! As for time, well the first time took me what seemed like ages but it's hard to judge as I wasn't doing it all the time. I do know though that by the time I was almost done, I was ready to throw her head out of the window!! I really do like her original dark brown, almost black colour, but this time she's going to be more of a chocolate brown....hopefully anyway!!

  10. The pictures of the whispering is adorable - I love the pose and their outfits.
I guess the more you re-root the easier it becomes- good luck with that. You, and she, will be happier with the chocolate brown, I know.

    1. Thanks so much Janet! I hope it'll be easier, at least this time I'm going to be very careful about the size of the plugs, so that should help!!!
