Of course the whole family wanted to come outside and see Twig on Amazon, even the two dogs, who didn't seem to be in the least bit afraid of such a big creature! Sunny has brought along her camera to record the occasion.
L to R in front: Boris the Bulldog, Sunny Song (Elfdoll BongSunHwa), Minx (Elfdoll Min del Re 2nd Edition with custom faceup by Ravendoll), and Stanley the Chihuahua.
One for the photo album Twig!!
THE OUT-TAKES
As per usual when I'm trying to take photos of my dolls in the garden, I have my little 'helpers' in attendance. Today, apart from running up my back and deciding to sit there whilst I was laid out flat on the ground to take these photos, Yoda decided that she needed to be in on the 'action'.....hence we have dolls falling over in all directions!!!
"Oh" said Yoda "I think this one would benefit from a little wash!"
"Oh dear! Looks like she's tired, poor thing! Oh well, let her sleep...what can I do to help now mum?"
No dolls or animals were harmed in the taking of these photos....but the photographer had trouble getting back up off the floor afterwards....DOH!!!
LOL Yoda is clearly a very helpful sort!
ReplyDeleteThat horse looks perfectly in scale for Twig! I love how detailed it is as well. :)
Ah yes, VERY helpful indeed!!!!
DeleteI'm very pleased with the horse, it works well for her. It comes with a lot of accessories too, but I put them in a safe place and now I can't find them!!!
Hi Sharon, hahaha, Yoda had a lot of fun, his "comments" are hilarious :-D. I love the horse, it looks awesome! Twig looks great on the horse. Did you make Minx's outfit and boots? It's lovely! And to end my long comment: the dogs (the real and fake ones) are great, the mini's look like real dogs! Enjoy the rest of the week! Hugs X
ReplyDeleteYoda is a real character, I've never really seen a dog who can portray so many expressions on her doggie face!!!!!
DeleteThe horse really is great and it was only about 6 euros too, which made it even better!!!
No, I didn't make her outfit, I do make them things occasionally, but I don't really like sewing in such a small size nowadays!!
LOL Sharon, now I can understand how you manage to take such beautiful pictures: you have great "assistants"!
ReplyDeleteAmazon is a beautiful horse and Twig looks so happy with it!
Kisses
I really do Billa!!!! Unfortunately there are 5 of them though, and you know what they say about too many cooks spoiling the broth!!!!
DeleteGlad you like the photos though!
Is Minx customised by Raven who used to enhance the Sasha Dolls like my toddler, Bea?
ReplyDeleteStanley looks so lreal and ife like.
Loved the appearance of Yoda, your photoshoot helper. No wonder your photos are always so much better than mine....obviously due not only to the fact that you have a better camera than mine BUT, more importantly, you have extra help on the scenes!
Apologies for the unforeseen before published typos.....'real and life like!'
DeleteYes Kendal, the very same Raven. I have a few dolls repainted by her, I really love her work but she's not doing it anymore for BJDs now either. :(
DeleteI'm glad you enjoyed the photos, and I will have to send my 'assistant' to you so that you can have a bit of help with your photos too.......and hopefully she'll not knock over any Sashas because they are bigger than she is!!!!!
Love your out-takes Sharon! Your little Minx's vest and matching boots are just wonderful--sweet hearts :). Hugs, xxxx
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Ginger, I'm glad you like the girls and the outfit too! xxx
