Bailey is back as a brunette!

Finally I have got around to finishing Bailey's hair 'do'!  You'll recall last week we saw her with plaits and rollers....I was hoping for a particular look....erm, that didn't happen! When I took the plaits out the back was really quite nice, except for the ends which were still straight as I couldn't plait right to the ends.  But the curls at the front were too big and full.  I'd obviously put far too much hair into each roller.

I didn't photograph her like that, the girl had suffered enough, but I decided to pour more boiling water over her head and start with straight hair again.  And that is where we've stayed!  I have cut the front into a straight blunt cut fringe and then I cut the length straight all the way around.   I did wonder if I should trim the fringe a little shorter, but for now I'm going to leave it as it is.

Here she is all ready to go to the Chat n Snap!

Nuria wanders by..."Hey Bailey, have you done something to yourself? You look different!"

"Have you got a new beret?"

"New blouse?"

"It's your hair, isn't it?  You've dyed your hair! It's lovely!"

  1. A lot of work and nothing to show for it but I guess you've learned something and I think Bailey looks really cute the way she is now. And I also think your Kidz n Cats Grace turned out absolutely adorable.

    1. Thanks so much Dee, glad you like her hair now as it is. I made some of the outfit, but the skirt comes from the kilt lady who sells on ebay and the boots are from Ruth. I made the blouse from an old table napkin and the hat is made by Hattie!!! ;)

  4. Really looking forward to meeting Bailey very soon now.
Poor little soul she has certainly been through the wars hairwise' but luckily seems to have survived her mother's various 'hair whims' remarkably well (.....although I still preferred her in the wispy, brunette, plaited wig.)

Who else besides her and the three Little Darling girls are you bringing with you?

    1. Thanks very much Kendal, she is looking forward to the event very much!
She certainly has suffered over the time she's lived here hasn't she, poor girl! Hopefully this will be it now though.
Well I am still not sure but I'll probably bring Nuria too, and maybe one other. I won't bring any clothes for myself though and the girls will have to wear the same outfits for the whole trip. Look out for me, I'll be the naked one at the Chat n Snap....oh boy!
