Bailey models again for me....

Today Bailey is modelling for me and she's back wearing her Prince Gregor wig as I really can't get used to her in other styles.

I've made a very similar outfit to this before, twice in fact, although I normally don't like to make 'repeats' of outfits, but the first one was made for ebay, and the second two sets were requested by people who commissioned me, having seen the ebay outfit, so that's why I've not stuck to my normal 'one of a kind' rule.

Anyway, without further ado, here is my little sweetie .... who incidentally fell straight into an empty blackbirds nest after climbing this tree!!!! ;)

  1. Another smart nautical outfit. Another satisfied customer! I well remember when you listed the first one for ebay with that fantastic harbour background.
(.....though dare I say that personally I prefer Bailey in her other wig with the plaites.)

    1. Thank you Kendal, and yes, I remember that day very clearly. I was determined that the nautical outfit MUST have a nautical themed set of photos for ebay, so off we went to the local marina, but it was COLD and there was a really bitter wind, the doll kept falling over, I thought she'd end up in the water with the fish if I wasn't careful! And poor Brian was trailing along behind me shivering with the cold as the wind really was whipping right through us!!! Yes, the things we do to get a good photo!! :)
I just don't know what to think with this wig....I put it on and I like it, then I don't, then I do!!!! The other plaited wig is getting so messy that I'm wondering if I should reroot her AGAIN!!!!!

    1. Thanks very much Ronny, nice to hear from you!
LOL on the syrup! It was really cute at first, I really do struggle with this girl's hair.....did you see her in the Roxie wig? I have that one here too, I might try that again. I like her best with shorter hair and the plaited one is all messy now as it's so blooming old.....I might have to investigate a new wig or seriously think about rerooting her again!

    2. Re root! re root! re root!!
I agree with you, there is something really nice about a Sasha with a chin length bob...a great variation!!
What are you waiting for...get those re rooting needles/scissors out!!

  3. Very cute outfit! I love the short hair with the little pin. One of my dolls, Asa, has short hair and I tried a long black wig on her (especially bought for her), but I just couldn't get used to that. I hope Bailey didn't hurt herself from the fall in the nest :-D. XX

    1. Thanks very much Night Owl....I do like short hair, but is this wig a bit too boyish perhaps?
Most of my wigged dolls have shorter hair, it's just so easy to keep neater don't you think?
No, thankfully she got less of a fright than I did, but one minute she was there in front of the camera and the next there she was, legs in the air, head in the nest!!!!! ;)

    2. I personally don't find the wig too boyish, maybe because it reminds me of my own and some of my school friends hair-dos when we were kids :-). Hugs!

  4. It's a terribly cute set, so I can see why they'd want it! Glad Bailey did not suffer any trauma from the Blackbird Nest Incident. ;)
