Therefore, she is going back to Shelly's :( where hopefully someone else will adopt her. I thought I'd post on here in case anyone is interested in her. I'm asking the same price as I paid, which is £480 plus postage from Spain. She will come just as she came to me, wearing her 'Dreaming Under the Lilacs' outfit, consisting of matching dress, knickers and hair ties, plus her socks and white leather Boneka lace-up shoes.
I am also open to trades.....I love trades! I would particularly love to trade for a Toddler, boy or girl, bald or with hair, dark or fair skin, or alternatively I would be interested in other Sasha dolls, of a similar value/condition to this one. But please, if you do offer a trade and your doll is not for me, please don't be offended if I turn you down, it's nothing personal against your particular doll.
These are Shelly's photos which she sent me.....I've not taken any of my own.
If you're interested then please email me:

Thanks very much in advance.
I just want to say that she is a beauty and maybe you are being a bit hasty??? <3
ReplyDeleteShe is indeed lovely Karin, I can't fault the doll herself at all, and I don't think it's that I don't like no navels either, I think it's just that this particular doll doesn't hit the spot for me. :(

I'm sorry you are not in love with your new girl S, but she is a GOTZ so I am not surprised :). I was just the same with a no fringe girl I bought from Shelly a few years ago...and yes, she went back to Auntie Shelly and I remember losing money on her just to get her sold! Hope you get what you want very soon either trade or sale... I am keeping my fingers crossed for you!!
ReplyDeleteLOL You are terrible Ronny!
DeleteI love GOTZ dolls so it really isn't that, I sometimes wonder if I love them more than the English ones but no, I think I just like both types.....
Thanks so much, you'll read below that my Fairy God Mother might have waved her wand for me :)

PS My future daughter in law has just landed herself a job in Brighton, I will tell you more about it.....I might need you to go and see if she's ok for me one day when you are next in Brighton ;)
I am in Brighton/Hove EVERY WEEK...so that won't be a problem :)
DeleteGorgeous girl Sharon! So sorry it did not click and hope you adopt her out soon!! :) xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Ginger, she is indeed really lovely, isn't she?

Oh dear! How disapointing!
ReplyDeleteThat's really sad news but these things can happen to all of us from time to time. Hope that she soon finds a new home and you eventually find a No-navel that you fall in love with.
I know Kendal, and this hasn't happened to me with a Sasha before, so it feels odd. I have had it happen with other dolls though and have adopted them out so hopefully this is just a one off and she'll find a nice new home with a mum or dad who will love her and treasure her :)

Hi Sharon
ReplyDeleteShe is lovely. I'll email you about a possible swap with Teddy the toddler later today. See my blog post Why, Mam, Why? if you want to look at him.

OMG Jenni, you already know that I love him from my comments!!! I will wait in anticipation for your email......or because I'm really really impatient I might even email you first ;)
DeleteAnd let me tell you, he may go out without knickers.....don't all my dolls have bare bums at some point in their lives.....but he will never be short of socks ;)

Super Jen to the rescue! Me keeping my fingers crossed must have worked :) Great news...really happy for you both!
DeleteIt is strange how we either 'click' with a doll or we don't. So far I've been lucky with all 8 Sasha dolls we've bought - we've clicked as soon as they've arrived (they're all Trendon dolls, I can hear Ronnie approving). I'm still not fond of the NN girls. We do still want a Gotz toddler (because the Trendon toddlers are so rare as to be impossible to get) and are still saving and hoping for the right one to come along.
DeleteSad that she's not gelled with you but hey! what an offer from Jen!! That Teddy's a little sweet heart mind you I'm wondering with your love of wigs etc whether we'll soon be calling him, Tina??? :)
ReplyDeleteSee very cloud as a silver lining as they say!! So glad Jen's come up with an offer as that girl was looking more and more like Village material by the minute!!
hugs Dee xxx
Thanks Dee and yes, what an offer!! I'm really pleased and it's working out well for both of us...Jenni wanted a NN and liked mine and I love the Toddlers and wanted one too, so we are both going to be happy :)
DeleteI think you're right, there will be times when Teddy becomes Thea or something like that, as I do have wigs that should fit, but we'll see how it goes!
Big hugs xxx
I think ahe's a pretty one as well, Sharon - but if you don't like her it's better to part and find a new home for her.
ReplyDeleteHopefully at Jens?
Swapping is a great idea :)
Thanks very much Anne! She is indeed lovely, I don't know what it is that makes me not instantly fall in love with her, but I just didn't so hopefully her new mum will have better luck!
