Oreo Cookie Cupcakes

Virginia (pronounced Ber-hin-eee-ah in Spanish), my sons fiancee, made us two boxes of lovely Oreo Cookie Cupcakes for Easter.  We decided we'd not eat them until later so I put them up high on the worksurface on the kitchen, out of the way of the dogs.....obvioiusly not high enough though!!

Three little girls are very interested in the boxes, peering through the celophane at the cupcakes!  Me thinks they have a Cunning Plan!!

Olive, being the biggest, gets the task of opening the lid and looks for the BIGGEST cupcake!

"This one looks lovely!"

The girls look a little bit guilty though, it has to be said!!!

Ellory, wandering what all the whispering is about, comes to investigate, but finds the three girls just 'hanging out' by the Cupcakes box!!!!

"Such sweet good little girls" she thinks!!!  Ha ha, little does she know!

(I love the way Olive is looking up at Ellory in this photo....and holding her hand too of course!
And I realised that of the four girls I brought with me to the coast, three of them are redheads.  I do like red hair on my dolls!!)

  1. That last photo is great...Olive looks like she can't quite believe Ellory has fallen for their 'innocent' looks ;-)

    1. THanks so much Ronny, and yes, doesn't Ellory look enormous!!! But she is a sweet caring girl, so she was the perfect one to look out for them really, wasn't she!!

  3. Not being familiar with the three little dolls in the first few photos I was just beginning to wonder about their sizes.....when all was revealed in the last photo. (I now know that the two very small ones must be approximately 15cms and the taller one about 24cms.)

The cup-cakes made by your son's finance, Virginia, look 'truly scrumptious.'

Ellory is looking very smart in her new Summer's dress. Obviously her new mummy has been busy.

    1. Yes, the tinies are 16cm and Olive, she's about 27cm I think, although her body is probably only about 21cm, she has a big head!!!! And yes, those cupcakes were delicious, and I'm the one who doesn't usually like Oreos, but they do make nice cupcakes!
Thanks on Ellory's dress, yes, I made it for her the other day, but like all little girls she is not yet satisfied and wants more new clothes!!

  4. Delicious blog in more ways than one, Sharon! Ellory is very pretty in her outfit and looks very kind and maternal. The little ones are soooooo cute! Very expressive faces. They obviously know how to get the better of kind, sweet Ellory! Very nice indeed! xxx Karin

    1. Thanks so much Karin, I'm glad you liked the photos. Ellory is indeed very kind...maybe too kind as some of my dolls are proper little urchins who will make mincemeat of her given half the chance. Luckily though, these ones are just a little bit naughty!!

    1. Thanks Dee! Glad you liked the blog....I hope that they've not been reading about Lucas...he is a bit too naughty that I don't want them getting any more ideas. They already have enough of their own!
