Bertie takes a bow....

I have been very very slow in introducing Alberto, or Bertie as he'll be known, my new little blond Gregor baby.  Bertie arrived well over a week ago but I've been busy sewing so he was left to his own devices for some time until I finally took some photos of him.  Unfortunately, the weather wasn't so good when I was taking the photos so they were taken inside with flash, so they're not great but I thought I'd share them all the same.

So far he doesn't have any other clothes than those he had when he arrived, but luckily for him, his only outfit is a cute one made by DollyDoodles, so he's doing quite well really!   However, I'm really looking forward to making something for him to wear.  He is from 1969 and has the raised eyelids and is a sexed boy.  His eyes are lovely and deep brown but his lips have oxidised.

I think he's already proving to be a bit of a 'joker' even at this young age!! ;)

  2. What a little cutie pie and looks like butter wouldn't melt.....! I'm sure he'll be good as gold and no trouble at all until he gets a little playmate - then you'll really have your hands full and need eyes in the back of your head! I wouldn't mind betting that wont be too long Sharon.

    1. Thankfully Jude, he has been very placid and well behaved....but will it last? He is already starting to get a bit crochetty (sp?) because I promised him things that I've yet to deliver....I suppose he'll rebel before long!!!
I'm honestly not sure that another baby will come here....you know me, it took forever to decide on this one....but there is the appeal of the little brunette girls...and I might need a girl to model dresses, mightn't I? LOL ;)

    1. Thank you Anne! I'm glad you like him. He has one leg that turns slightly because the hook is not in the centre, but it doesn't worry me....after all, I guess none of us are perfect! LOL
