Sunshine on her skin....

I was taking some outfit photos this evening and Wren, my 1969 Kilt girl, was modelling for me.  The sun was just starting to go down and the light was really pretty.  This photo was one I took just of her face and I was really pleased with the colours......the sky was going quite pink and it seems to have given her face a particularly nice warm glow.

    1. Thanks Anne, it has been particularly sunny over the last few days but today has been a bit cloudy and it's cool in the shade.

  4. Lovely Sharon - you've really caught her gentle innocence with that beautiful soft light - I've just spent the last 30mins looking at all those early Trendon dolls Susanna has for sale and some at amazing prices - only by the time we add on for postage and get stung for duty they're not so brilliant then! Her gorgeous '68 kilt girl is only £210.00 and the mint '69 only £225.00 - but neither of them looking quite so angelic as yours!

    1. Thanks so much Jude! Of course I had to go and look on Susannas dolls for sale and aren't there some lovely ones on there! And yes, the prices are brilliant.....except for us outside of the US with our horrible customs. :(
I know my girl isn't mint but I do love her, the minute I saw her, as you know, I just soooo wanted her. It was lovely when she was able to come here in the end!!!!

  7. Wren looks positively radiant.
(Early evening is always MY favourite time, both here in the UK and when on holiday abroad with the sun setting and the extreme heat of the day having passed.)

    1. Thanks very much Kendal. I agree, it is a lovely time of the day. I love that here the evenings are nice and warm but without the intensity of the sunshine during the day. Having said that, I love the sunshine and the hot weather, although I don't tend to sit out in full sunshine nowadays, I prefer to go in and out.....making the best of both worlds!
