A little orange!

I had the urge to make something with a piece of fabric that I bought recently.   I have absolutely nothing in orange for my dolls and it's not a colour that I'm ever asked about.....so I made a very short, simple, summer dress using this orange and white cotton and edged it with orange rick-a-rack.  I intended for it to be this short because I love the Sashas legs!!  I  made her a headband from some ribbon and she made herself a necklace and bracelet with a couple of orange slice beads.  Bailey is happy!!!

  1. Bailey looks so sweet in this orange dress that shows off her lovely legs beautifully. I like her wig as well, it really suits her. I think the dress is perfect for the fabulous warm weather you have!

  3. Lovely dress perfect for the Spanish weather ! I love the little orange necklace and bracelet. She just needs one of those big beach bags and a towel and she'd be ready for the beach. :)

    1. You're right Dee, a bag and towel would be a great idea...except that we're a bit far from the sea here. However, I'll have to give it some thought for when we go back down to the coast next weekend.
      Glad you liked the outfit!!xxx

  6. She looks lovely. Wish my legs could be half so gorgeous!
It is a really versatile little item as it would look good with trousers on cool days too.
    Bailey is a sweetie.

    1. Thank you very much Karin, I'm glad you like her little short dress....the hair is a wig, but I would love to reroot with something like this and might try it one day!!! Bailey went bald very quickly, bless her, I think by washing her hair I speeded it up a bit.... lesson learned! :( xx
