It's NOT just Sashas that can wear Ra-Ra's!!!!

I made a ra-ra skirt outfit for Marlee, my Zwergnase Junior but I'm not sure she's exactly happy with it!  I had to laugh, she looks almost 'punky' in it, instead of sweet and girly as the Sashas do!....Which got me to thinking and gave me more ideas for outfits for her!  Of course she still kept her boots on, and her funky knitted beany, as she couldn't be seen without those!!!

  1. OOH! Put my Zwerg girls on the list for autumnal ra-ras, please! Marlee looks great. Thse girls really do have a slightly older, punky look than the Sashas. Marlee definitely looks a little unsure in the first photos but seems to be warming to the idea of a ra-ra by the last one.
I'm thinking about steam-punk might be her thing, though.

    1. OK Jenni, consider it done LOL! I'm glad you like her in this outfit, I wasn't sure at first but my friend said that she felt the Zwergnases could 'do' modern too, so I gave it a go. I loved her expressing, she really looks a bit unsure and then in another photo, a bit annoyed! Ooops!
How about Mori? I was thinking that the layer Mori look might work well for her, except for her bit of a pot belly....not sure how layers will go over that! :)

I do think these dolls have a lot of character and it's nice to have a doll with a different look about them

    1. Yes, doesn't she just! And you're so right, I hate 'boring' looking dolls, they have to have that something.....which is why I struggle a bit with the Gotz girlie I showed the other day, she's cute but I'm still not sure about her. I'll have to work on her style I think. But yes, this one has attitude!!

  3. Great clothes for her, they are just right for a girl who clearly isn't going to be seen as one of those 'sweet, pretty, sugary types' and would rather stir up the dust in the playground. Love the colour of your bougainvillea by the way, I grew up with an enormous one just like it which screened our washing hanging out area from the garden.

    1. Thanks Anna and yes, you have her personality exactly! I think she thinks she's a bit more 'cool' than she really is though! She is still a sweet little girlie at heart, she just wants to appear to have an attitude!
Isn't bouganvillia pretty, it comes in such nice colours. Ours was the best it's been this year, I think, although it's not enormous. Our neighbours is a lot bigger because hers is planted in a full sunshine spot maybe?. I think this and hibiscus, for me just scream SUMMER!!!

  4. I meant to tell you, Sharon, I have a Zwerg Junior Tommy and he's a handsome lad. My only complaint is that they have now brought out another boy...in the same sculpt and with the same hair/eye combination, so poor Tommy has to either have an expensive, identical twin or just go on being the only lad. Tommy was a worthwile investment though as, with his not over-smiley face, the lads in our little village school love having him to visit their classroom.

    1. Jenni, I never knew you had Zwergnases at all until I saw your other comment above....but you have a boy too!! I have been looking at the boys, I really like Josef, he must be the one you refer to as having the same face as Tommy? I am tempted but I have so many dolls on my wish list that I probably won't!!! I do think these dolls are interesting and I'm glad the boys enjoy him visiting with them! I'd love to see your Z kids, if you have any photos!!! :)

    1. Oh my goodness Kendal, now that WOULD be a sight for sore eyes!!!! LOL
Thank you on the outfit, Marlee is about 20 inches tall, so a big sister for the Sashas. I will have to take some photos of them all together so that you can see the comparison.

    1. Thanks so much Ginger, it was fun to make for her as she is a bit taller than the Sashas so it made a nice change! I will make her another outfit eventually, but probably it'll be a winter one now!!
