I know some of you will have already seen some of these photos on Facebook, but I thought I'd add them here too. They are some 'just because' photos of Núria, my 1968 redhead ballerina who came to live here last year from the UK. Núria is named after La Vall de Núria, ("The Valley of Núria") in Catalonia here in Spain.
Núria was enjoying the sunshine yesterday and looked so lovely that I had to try to capture it with my camera......and thought I'd share....
Outfit by me, shoes by the late Jean Jensen.
Hi Sharon! I am so glad you posted these lovely photos of Nuria in the sunshine. I saw her on facebook but it is much nicer to see her here on your blog. She is a gorgeous ballerina girl and she looks so pretty in her shorts outfit you made for her. What a stunning girl! :) xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you Ginger, I'm glad you've enjoyed seeing her here aswell as on FB! I hate to be repetitive but I just love to share my lovely girl!!!

I love this girl of yours. Nuria is a beauty and being a 68 the perfect year ! She looks like she's got a golden tan in the Spanish sunshine and the outfit you made her is just perfect for her.
ReplyDeleteIn fact a perfect post from start to finish ! :) Should she ever wish to return to England she'd be welcome in the village!
Yes I know there's not a cat in hell's chance but you cannot blame me for trying...:)
hugs Dee xx
I knew you'd love her Dee, because of the year of her birth! I admit that I love the 68s, 69s, 70s, and 71s too.....in fact I can honestly say that I just love them!!!
DeleteShe has indeed got a golden tan, all my dolls seem to be outside sort of kids to be honest!!
LOL I will let her know that you offered to take her in should the need arise, but hopefully it won't ever happen!

She is beautiful. I'm particularly taken with the second photo. Her hair is just perfect--the bangs, the fullness, the style...
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Julie, I really do love her, I was lucky to get her I think!

Some of our Sasha Dolls are SO photogenic that it's pure delight just to get the camera out as somehow you just can't go wrong....and Nuria is certainly one of those girls. Beautiful photos and poses and just adore that outfit on her with its colour and combination of floral, checked and striped materials.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean Kendal, some just seem to shine in front of the camera whereas others we struggle to show their true beauty. My little blond Gotz girl who I found on ebay is like that, she is so cute in real life but I can never get a good photo of her, I have no idea why, but she always looks a bit odd. I suppose it's just like us humans, some are photogenic and some (ME!) are not!!!!
DeleteThank you on the outfit too, you know how much I like to mix and match my fabrics.

She is a beauty S!!
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Ronny, glad you stopped by! :)
