Today was a beautiful sunny and warm day so I took Teddy and the babies to the beach. It wasn't crowded at all, although today and tomorrow, are the Easter holidays here...the waves were a bit too rough for the tinies to go in the water, so they played nicely on the sand. Mattie was very curious, I'm not sure she'd been to the beach before in her previous home, but Bertie was happy to explore.....although I didn't let him go too far from the beach mat as he likes to eat everything he lays his hands on......he managed to eat just a little of the sand before I was able to stop him! ;)
Teddy loved the beach and although he didn't bring his bucket, he did enjoy playing with his spade....as did the two babies :)
My mum, who along with my brother, came to the beach with us, wanted to know why they weren't wearing their swimming costumes!!!! When I told her they didn't have any yet, she said that she could have knitted them some! Well you don't get any points for 'could have' do you! ;)
Anyway, lots of babies and toddlers go 'nudista' here because after all, they are only babies :) And they were smothered in sun cream, I didn't want their delicate little bodies to get burned :)
The sea was too rough for the little ones to attempt any paddling!
LOL Too cute! They obviously aren't going to let the lack of swimwear keep them from having fun! :)
ReplyDeleteNo, Lynn, they like to let everything hang out and get an all over tan ;)

Teddy has some catching up to do in the sun tan department! The babies are well ahead of him. Hope you have a peaceful, sunnny weekend.
ReplyDeleteJenni xx
Thanks Jenni! And yes, Teddy is quite fair skinned so I have to be extra careful that he's not burnt, so the three of them are covered in high factor sun lotion! ;)
DeleteI wish you a very nice weekend too my dear!

S! I am shocked...you posting this VINYL PORN :) Only hope that YOU weren't running around the beach without your swimsuit on either :)
ReplyDeleteLOL nooooooo not me, I didn't even have shorts on!!!! I mean I had tracksuit trousers and a tee shirt...which was handy for getting down on all fours to take the photos :)
DeleteBut I really must get them some swimsuits.....especially as they get bigger ;)

Lovely photo's I especially like Teddy keeping his modesty with the little windmill ! :) Looks like you are
ReplyDeleteall having some fun over there for Easter :) hugs Dee xx
Thanks Dee! Yes, that windmill was very strategically placed, wasn't it!
DeleteHugs to you too xxx
Love it, it's lovely. I too like the windmill placement, made me chuckle :) x
ReplyDeleteI'm gone blind *gg
ReplyDeleteSweeties, nothing but cuty overload.
Btw. we got snow here today.
Great to see a sun, who's doing their work :)
Don't let anyone knit them swimsuits! D: I feel itchy just from imagening it. I'm sure they'd much prefer that you made them some nicely colourful swim-shorts on your sewing machine. :)
ReplyDeleteLove it! The 3rd to last photo is priceless :)
ReplyDeletePrecious post Sharon. Teddy's little whirlygig is a true inspiration! ;) xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat fun on the sand - they need a sunshade though as the springtime sunshine looks pretty strong in Spain.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the lovely comments, I am glad you enjoyed seeing Teddy and the babies on the beach :)
