So my plans for this year. Well for a start I still have two dolls on pre-order from last year. One of them was ordered in September and the other early December, so hopefully the first of those will be shipping within the next couple of months. Both are artist dolls, although from two different artists and most artists will say that the dolls take approximately 4 or 5 months to ship....so that gives me a while to go yet. The first of these dolls that I've ordered is Eminor by Harucasting in South Korea. She is an MSD sized girl and I've ordered her in a medium tan with a custom faceup by Blisslacosta from Russia. (Photo by Blisslacosta/Harucasting):
And the second doll on order is called Ninon and she is from the French artist, Lillycat Dolls, she is also MSD and her skin colour is called Chocolate. (Photo by Lillycat Dolls).
In the meantime, I come to the dolls that I mentioned in my last blog post, that I would be putting up for sale. To be honest the task is such a daunting one that I really don't know where to start. I have so many dolls to sell, photos to take, listings to type up, postage to work out, that I've been dragging my feet about making a start. I have sold three dolls on Facebook, which should have encouraged me to keep at it, but still I am not getting anywhere and it is driving me to distraction. I tried to make a separate page on here so that at the top of the page there would be a tab that you could click on to see what I'm selling, but for some reason I am unable to get that right, so that is my next task. Anyway, I thought I'd just add some photos here and if you're interested in anything, please give me a shout!!
And as I also said previously, I will be listing things on ebay too, so again, I will add links here too once I have them.
I also have a bunch of Barbies and a Ken that have never been removed from their boxes, I have two of the first batch of the Made to Move Barbies, the blond and the dark skinned girl, plus the Asian girl, she has been removed from her box and posed. I don't have her box. I also have a couple of the Fashionista girls (numbers 24 and 33) and a Ken Fashionista (number 3). All brand new in their boxes, although one of them, the dark skinned red head has some damage to the side of her box where the clear plastic front has come away from the cardboard backing.
I am also considering selling my Gotz 50th Anniversary set of dolls, they're by the artist Sylvia Natterer and represent the Gotz family. The set is limited to 50 sets worldwide and they were released in the year 2000. One of the dolls has some caving to her chest but apart from that, the dolls and their clothing are in good condition.
And I have three other Sylvia Natterer dolls that are looking for new homes, one of those has never even been undressed.

I'm open to offers on their prices, please don't be shy about making an offer, I can only say no, and I promise that I'll say it in the nicest possible way!!! Unfortunately I'm not able to offer more than one month layaway at the moment.
Thanks for reading, I hope you're all having a great week!
Big hugs Sharon xx
Aw! Whose the girl in the hat? Number 11.
ReplyDeleteHi Tam
DeleteThat is a Robert Tonner Sindy who was released for about one year (I think he only had the licence for them for that short period) several years back. She is really like the original Sindy but I am having to be ruthless, so she is looking for pastures new!

They are all adorable. I found my Kidz N Cats doll. I am still looking for my Gotz Luisa. I can't believe I missed her (laugh). I hope these lovely dolls find nice homes.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dorothy. I'm so glad you found your girl! That's great to hear, I hope she is all you wished for. I will keep looking out for Luisa for you, you never know, she might pop up somewhere for sale. Have you looked on Ebay Germany? Sometimes I've found dolls on there too.

Happy New Year, Sharon! I do hope you make work of your resolution to take more photos with dolls while out and about this year. I've been telling myself to do the same for years (with just one doll, Hitty) and to date I haven't managed it even once.
ReplyDeleteAs for blogging and all the bells and whistles that go with it such as a shop button, I'm considering doing a series of blog posts about improving one's Blogger page, specifically for my friends and their needs. If this is something that would interest you, let me know, it might motivate me to get started!
Thank you Megan and the same to you too!
DeleteI have been very lax with taking doll photos in the last few months and particularly doll photos whilst out and about....but I hope to get back to it soon. I just have so much sorting out to do at the moment that they've had to take a back seat for now.
I would really be very interested in learning how to improve my blogging, so yes, please do think about doing something for us! I did try the 'help' button on here and it did indeed give instructions, but those instructions did not tally up with what I was supposed to be seeing on my screen so I gave up :( I would just like to have that button or tab so that people could see what I am selling without having to trudge back through other blog posts in the hope of finding it. So yes, I would definitely be delighted with some help please!!! :)

Beautiful dolls and I do hope they fins lovely homes. And I do hope you get up the shop button. In a way blogger has great features and possibilities, but at times these can just mess things up if you miss to click a button or two. Good luck with the selling and shop button! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Niina, I hope so too.
DeleteI agree that Blogger does seem to have good features, I just wish I knew how to use them though!
Hugs to you too!

That had to be really tough thing to do - choose all the girls for sale. I hope they will find new homes.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love your dolls that will arrive to you (soon, hopefuly). Especially the first one. She's so beautiful.
Thank you Kamelia, it has been a bit tough to decide who can stay and who must go. I'm doing it bit by bit and hopefully I can keep my favourites.
DeleteIsn't Eminor beautiful! I'm really looking forward to seeing her in real life. I knew, the minute I saw her when Haru was still sculpting her, that she was my type of doll....I hope I'm as happy with her when she finally arrives. It's been almost 5 months now since ordering her, so hopefully it won't be too much longer.

Hi Sharon! I hope all of your beautiful dolls find happy homes. I know how hard it is to sell but it is important to have the right size doll collection so you can enjoy them. Sending you happy wishes for selling successes and big hugs. 😊 xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much dear Ginger, I hope so too. Yes it is hard to sell, but once it's done I'll be fine and hopefully will still have my favourites :)
DeleteThank you also for the big hugs, they are appreciated.

Good luck with the sales! I know the work of putting all the info online is exhausting, I've done it myself, but if you go little by little it will get eventually done.
ReplyDeleteHope you sell it all soon! I myself I'm selling a few dolls as well, maybe I should advertise it in my blog haha.
Hope you have a great weekend!
Thank you so much, I hope that I can get it done bit by bit. I've started so slowly, just putting on Facebook and here on my blog, I really don't like Ebay but I think that in the end it will get the dolls rehomed quicker perhaps? So I have to 'bite the bullet' as they say!
DeleteGood luck with your selling too and yes, if it helps to put on your blog then I say go for it!
Have a lovely weekend yourself xxx
Wow that is a lot of dolls going out! It must feel good though to do a bit of clear out to make room for new things. Best of luck with all your sales. I hope they all sell quickly for you! I do know what you mean though about dragging your feet on organising sales. I am the same. I have only a very small number of dolls I'd like to sell but the thought of it all makes me feel so overwhelmed so I've actually not done a thing!!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the new dolls coming your way this year. I've been an admirer of both of those artists so can't wait to see what you think of those dolls in person.
Thanks so much on the new girls, I too admire both these artists and although I already have one BJD from Harucasting, Lillycat will be new to me, and I am really looking forward to seeing this girl as she looks different to what I usually am attracted to. It should be fun!
DeleteAnd yes, that is exactly how I'm feeling, so overwhelmed that apart from this post, I've really done nothing at all to get myself motivated to sell. But I will....very soon!!!

Your Eminor doll that you're waiting for is so pretty. I look forward to seeing photos when that one arrives! Best of luck selling your doll horde. That seems a daunting task! I see no Zwergnase dolls....is that a good sign that you cannot part with them? Or were some sold on FB?
ReplyDelete~Rebecca in MI
Thank you Rebecca, I'm really looking forward to seeing these two girls in real life.
DeleteWell, I was thinking of selling two or three of the Zwergnases as I have 5 of them, four are the regular 19 inch Juniors and one is the bigger 55cm one, but I'm hoping that it won't come to that. I looked at them standing together and thought that one of them could go, but then I looked at her again and had to rethink....I'm so terrible at that! I will see how it goes though and maybe in the future I will get down to three of them, but which three? I really haven't a clue!!!

A goodly number of dolls up for adoption Sharon. I think it feels good when you can make some space and move some dolls on to new homes.
ReplyDeleteThe two you have coming look gorgeous especially the first girl, I love her face up. and i am sure if you sell all those listed above another one or two new ones will appear :)
Good luck with the sales, hugs xx
I really hope so Dee, it's just such a large amount of dolls that I don't know where to start! And there are more, I forgot some of the others....can you believe it! But hopefully I'll get there in the end!
DeleteThanks on the new girls, Eminor is looking very popular and yes, that faceup is lovely isn't it! I don't think I'll be buying any more though, yes famous last words I know, but once I have the numbers down, I really want to try keeping them down. I've done it before with my bjds so I really should be able to do it again.....she says, crossing everything!!!!
Hugs to you too xxx
Oh my! I can't believe you are letting so many go at once!! Still I know there comes a time when doll collecting takes a different turn and to make way for new arrivals we have to let some go, but Sharon sooooo many???? I wish you luck in re-homing them all, they are sure to get snapped up quickly. :)
ReplyDeleteI do love the incoming dolls, they are both gorgeous dolls and I shall look forward to seeing them dressed in your beautiful familiar style. :)
Big hugs,
X
Oh I know Sandi, it's scary isn't it? And daunting. I need to have a method of maybe just a few dolls at a time then maybe it wouldn't seem such a big task. As it is, this is NOT all of the dolls that I'm selling, there are more that I forgot to post on here.
DeleteThanks for your 'good luck' wishes, I think I need it!!!
Aren't they lovely incomers, I'm really looking forward to seeing them both 'in the flesh' so to speak!!
Big hugs to you too xxx
Good luck with your sales! It must be so intimidating to be listing so many all at once.
ReplyDeleteI'll be looking forward to seeing your Lillycat doll when she arrives. Those are always lovely and I can't wait to see how you personalize yours. :)
Thank you JS, I appreciate your good luck message.
DeleteI will be sure to show the Lillycat girl once she arrives :) I suspect it won't be for some time yet though :(

What is it with everyone. we are all cutting back on dolls....maybe we are starting to GROW UP :) Or we could blame it on Brexit :)
ReplyDeleteI can't comment for anyone else but for me, it is a real need to downsize....I don't think I'm growing up though, I still see loads of dolls that I'd like, I just have to realise that I cannot have all of them! Yes let's blame it on Brexit!!
