A new outfit for Alice...

Alice is my little Kidz n Cats girl who arrived, and I customised, just before Christmas.  I really don't see her as 'Alice' so I'm currently trying to think of a new name for her. 

In the meantime, she got a nice new outfit a couple of days ago and so insisted that she wanted to have her photos taken and show it off on my blog! 

So here she is, my sweet little girl with her big brown eyes, sharing an outfit that I bought from a seamstress in the UK:

Temptation....

Oh to be able to resist temptation.....

This little one was sooooo tempted, as was Choco on the sofa in the background......

But, she was a good girl and.....she resisted!!

Unlike this one.......who I'm afraid could not resist the temptation of the perfectly sized chocolate muffin.....

And gobbled it all up......

A little girl comes to stay....

Today a little girlie came to live here in Spain with us.  The little girl in question is a Disney Animator doll that has been customised by an artist in Germany.  She is a Rapunzel doll from the Disney film 'Tangled' and is about 15 inches tall, an all vinyl 'play doll'.  These dolls have five joints, neck, shoulders and hips.  They are good quality and when buying default directly from the Disney store are very well priced.  The dolls hair is very soft and silky. 

Rapunzel fits into Sasha outfits and below is seen wearing an smock dress and shorts which I made some time ago from a Sasha pattern.  Shoes and socks are also made for Sasha.

Because Rapunzel has extremely long hair I cut it into a bob which is shorter at the back and then tapers to longer at the front.  I love how her eyes are hand painted, they are so pretty and much nicer than the default dolls eyes which are sprayed on.

I also have two of these dolls that are still in their default state, so now I plan on customising them myself.....watch this space!!!

Kidz n Cats Julika Makeover - SOLD

This girl arrived yesterday and I knew immediately that she wasn't for me, happy looking dolls just don't seem to hit the spot in my collection!  And the truth is I actually really only wanted her outfit!

I thought I'd give her a makeover so she has had the full works!  Her eyes have been removed and exchanged for realistic pretty blue glass ones, she has been given a full new  makeup with freckles and she has new, more natural looking, eyelashes.  Her eyes are not glued in so that they can be moved or changed if required.  But if you'd prefer them glued in then just let me know.

Julika is from 2015 and was brand new, never removed from box, until I got her yesterday.  She will travel nude and in her original box and shipper to her new home and you can choose if you would like her original wig or this red Monique Gold one which I cut into a bob.  Please note the red wig is NOT new and is sold 'as is'.
