  2. My Sasha Brood have a lovely collection of shells from the beaches that they have visited whilst one of my nieces always bought my late mother back an attractive stone which was added to the little ever-increasing pile outside her courtyard door.

    1. Kendal I used to have a lot of shells from the beach and nice flat pebbles, but the local children decided to 'collect' them from my planters LOL. The funny thing is, over the years I've found less and less shells on the beach here, I don't know where they've gone, but they are more of a rarity these days but there are loads of pebbles!

  3. They are beautiful..... especially for beach deprived inlanders, like me! I love your arrangement. In Japan, where stone and water are thought to bring peace, you would be considered a garden designer.

    1. LOL, they're not bad Jenni! I'm sure you're right and in Japan I would definitely be in high demand to design peoples gardens for them!!! LOL xxx

    1. And so relaxing too Ginger!!! I just love the beach and I did this just lying there, I didn't even need to do anything more than stretch my arms out to reach some stones! LOL
