WARNING!!! Nudist beach babies! Not for the faint hearted ;)

Today was a beautiful sunny and warm day so I took Teddy and the babies to the beach.  It wasn't crowded at all, although today and tomorrow,  are the Easter holidays here...the waves were a bit too rough for the tinies to go in the water, so they played nicely on the sand.  Mattie was very curious, I'm not sure she'd been to the beach before in her previous home, but Bertie was happy to explore.....although I didn't let him go too far from the beach mat as he likes to eat everything he lays his hands on......he managed to eat just a little of the sand before I was able to stop him! ;)

Teddy loved the beach and although he didn't bring his bucket, he did enjoy playing with his spade....as did the two babies :)

My mum, who along with my brother, came to the beach with us, wanted to know why they weren't wearing their swimming costumes!!!!  When I told her they didn't have any yet, she said that she could have knitted them some!  Well you don't get any points for 'could have' do you! ;)

Anyway, lots of babies and toddlers go 'nudista' here because after all, they are only babies :)  And they were smothered in sun cream, I didn't want their delicate little bodies to get burned :)

The sea was too rough for the little ones to attempt any paddling!

A sunny Sunday stroll...

Some of the vinyl kids are out strolling in the sunshine.  We have a new pushchair which I got recently for my girls to play with, but it actually fits one of the Natterer babies so a group of the bigger kids are taking him out for a little walk....after being cooped up in my sewing room, they just needed to work off a bit of energy and get some fresh air!

Here is Jakob, showing you how perfectly he fits into the pushchair....pity it's pink though!

The pushchair is a little bit tall for the Sashas to push and a little bit small for Bertie to travel in....but fortunately, Bertie is now trying to walk so he wouldn't want to stay in the pushchair anyway....he's going through that very 'independent' stage I'm afraid ;)

His brother Devlin did try to persuade him to stay behind but he insists on 'walking'....although he regularly sits down or wants to be carried!!  And let me tell you, he is no light weight!! ;)

Tanya (Maru & Friends), Destin (60s Gotz slate eyed Sasha), Devlin (1969 blond PJs Gregor), Jakob (Gotz 50th Anniversary Ltd Edition Sylvia Natterer baby) and Bertie (1969 blond sexed baby boy) all head out into the sunshine.

The kids certainly seem to be happy to be out in the sunshine and out of their winter clothes, don't they?

Not quite sure what's being discussed here, I was too far away to eavesdrop but I think maybe Destin is asking if she can push the pushchair....

Looks like Bertie has taken away Jakob's red London bus, there'll be ructions!!

Above and below, listening intently!

Below, handsome boy!

And finally a few photos of Tanya who is trying out a new wig, it's a Monique Buttercup but I'm not sure it's really 'her'....the front is a bit 'sparse' which I don't like so it's hard to push it to one side, out of her face, without the cap showing.

However, that aside, she has a new outfit that I quickly made yesterday afternoon, so she's happy.  The yellow top is made from a skirt I bought some years ago in a sale, and leggings are made from a pair of child's leggings, again bought in a recent sale.

A new little Sasha lover in the making...?

Today Sidika discovered the dollies!  But not any old dolly, oh no, this was a specific one that she had in mind.   Her little face was a picture!

Of course she's only small so she couldn't reach them herself!!!  Or so I thought!

Not to be outdone, she pulled over a couple of dolly boxes and climbed on them to get a better reach! (Please ignore the dust on the Mariquita Perez boxes!)

At first I thought she was only after the little Lindt chocolate bunny (still not eaten, bet you're impressed) that baby Bertie was holding......

But no, it would appear that she has set her sights higher than the chocolate.....(strange girl!!!)...

And actually prefers Bertie instead!

She carefully lifted him down and craddled him to her!!  And asks me "please mama, can I keep him?"

Oh dear, how can I refuse that little face?!!!!

Bertie finally gets some new duds!!!

Poor little Bertie, he's been here for months now and it wasn't until today that I finally finished an outfit for him....talk about neglected!  I don't know why it's taken me so long to get motivated into sewing something for him, I just find the babies a bit of a challenge.  I love looking at other peoples photos of them, I even like looking at this little fellows face as he sits on my Sasha shelf, but I had no urge to sew for him.  However he is now the happy owner of a set of new clothes and wanted to show them off to you.  He even has a hat....although it's not really the weather for this type of hat, when he saw the little fishes I'd decorated it with, nothing would deter him from putting it on right away!!

Bertie likes to play with his friend Stewart Little!

And he particularly loves his cousin Lindt!

Bare Baby Bertie!

Warning: Nude baby photos!!!! (Not for the faint hearted) LOL

Little Bertie has a bit of camera time.....I washed his hair and combed it more to the side as his basin cut style just wasn't hitting the spot for me.  It isn't a lot different, but I prefer it.

Looking like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth!

Playing with Mr Otter!

Poor Mr Otter, you're squashing him Bertie!

That's better, give him a nice cuddle!  There's a good boy!

Finally hes worn himself out and time for a little nap!  Sweet dreams Bertie!
