The Brunettes....

Here are some photos of the Brunettes, Maggie, Alex and Little Miss No Name.  I have a couple of names in mind for her but will have to see which suits her best.  One of the names has been used here several times before, which is NOT a good sign as each doll has moved on!! Ooops!
So I'm looking for something that is just for her!  Suggestions always welcome!!

And finally, one of Alex on his own because I think he is a handsome little cutie!

  1. Alex is definitely a cutie! Did you make his shirt, and if so did you create the transfer from a computer image? Gabrielle comes to mind for Miss no name.

    1. Thanks so much Julie!
Yes, I made it and also yes, it is an image that I found on the internet and printed onto transfer paper!
Gabrielle is a really pretty name, thank you, I will add that to my 'potential names' list!

  2. I love Little Miss No Name's new look. She looks very Mediterranean - how about a Spanish girl's name, since she lives in Spain?
The brunettes are definitely my favourite Sasha/Gregors. Perhaps that's something to do with the lack of dark haired dolls for me to be mummy to when I was a little girl.
The print fabric you used for Maggie's dress is cute. I find it hard to buy Sasha-sized childrens' prints here.

    1. Thanks so much Jenann, I'm glad you like her.
I have been thinking about Spanish names but they don't really grab me. It's true that she does look very Mediterranean now though, I thought the same myself! I thought of Rocio, Virginia (it's pronounced BERHINIA here), Rosa, Magdalena...Carmelita, Maria, but when there are sooooo many of the same names heard around here all the time, it sort of puts me off a bit!!!! Dulce is quite nice...Angelines, Rosalia, Antonia is quite nice but I used that for another doll I have here!! I will have to keep thinking!!
This fabric was a gift from a friend in the US some years ago. I also find it hard to find prints here that are the correct scale for my dolls.

    2. The first name that came to mind when I looked at her was Beth, I don't know why as I've never really thought of that name before.

I love your lad he is cute - and I too love the shirt you made him. I really ought to do some transfer prints - we have the paper - I just need to get my act into gear!

    3. It's funny you should mention Beth, Lorraine, because I'd been thinking Elizabeth, then thought of someone I know with that name and it put me off a bit! OOOps!
Thanks so much on Alex and his shirt. I often make tee shirts using the transfer paper because it is so versitile, you can use whatever picture you want!

  3. Love all the brunettes together,I do not have many myself but I do love them! What about Nanette , thats the name popped in my head when I saw her. I love the name Dulcie too, I named one of my baby Sasha's that but she's moved on now.

    1. I really am taken with the brunettes...oh and the blonds, not forgetting the redheads! Oh dear, there is no hope for me, is there!!
Nanette....yes, that's a nice one too, thank you! I do like Dulce (it's spelt without the 'i' here and actually means 'sweet'....so maybe appropriate for a Sasha!) I vaguely know a Dulce and she seems nice.....it's a distinct possibility.

  4. Oh Sharon, I love them all!!! I don't think I have enough brunettes now that I look at your little lot!!! Dear oh dear, there is never going to be an end to my wanting to have yet another Sasha!!! Your boy looks particularly nice. His hair is just as a boy's hair should be! Cool! xxx Karin

    1. Thanks so much Karin! I do like the brunettes, but then again I like them all to be honest! I agree that no, there doesn't ever seem to be an end to it. I tell myself 'no more' but it's like an obsession, I'm always saying to myself "If I sell X then I can buy Y" or "I just need X doll and then I'll be content with my collection and not want another one!" How many times I've said that last statement.....well I'd like a Euro for every time it's passed my lips!!!
Thank you also on Alex's hair. It was really really sticking up when he arrived from Shelly, and has taken a lot of hat and sock wearing to get it to flatten. The funny thing is, if he goes without his beanie for just a day or so, I can see the side of his hair start to rise up again...it really has a mind of it's own! He is a lovely boy though....I think he needs a friend!!!!
